Things I want to see in #DragonAgeTheVeilGuard. Cheese (specifically, please let there be ancient Elven cheese. Also maybe Cheese of the Gods), Possible honkin' huge wheels of cheese, ancient victims of the honkin' huge wheels of cheese, and nugs (With their creepy hands and opposable thumbs).
Told hub 'if you grab Rey, I can clean up her eye'. She's been having allergy issues because of the work being done. He stands up and she's off toward the kitchen. "Well, you can do it after she has cheese." ...my cat gets a cheese allowance.
I have a ton of things to get done but I am breaking out the new embroidery kit this weekend and getting something started. Dorian embroidery first. Because why not combine #dragonage with my other hobbies?
Hah! I took the family on a 2 hour round trip drive to a little farm store for lunch and to let them shop a little. Now everyone, INCLUDING my husband, is off napping somewhere. It's so quiet! I'm gonna play video games.
So if you're wondering why some studios hold onto their release date, Frostpunk 2 just went from July 25th to vaguely September. For good reasons, but that is a bit of a delay! lol
The master bath reno took about two days with a third for everything to set. I'm STILL overstimulated from the noise, but had to make cookies with the adolescent humans. Now, I am going to gather with headphones on.
Having had to use the damaged hall bath for two days now? This insurance company is about to witness what happens once the Appalachian charm wears thin and that temper comes out.
The bff mentioned Hallmark movies and it equated in my mind for a second with Harlequin and then it dawned on me. Mawmaw loved those damn Harlequin novels. MAWMAW WAS READING SMUT IN HER 60's. There's hope for me.

Took all four cats in for vaccinations. Our favorite vet was there, so it was great. No one had anything, but the girls sure are convinced we had the audacity. If I don't post tomorrow, you know they struck at dawn.

In today's episode of Mel's First World Problems: The company doing our master bath tub/shower replacement called. "Hey, we have a cancellation. Is tomorrow good?" Like, hell no it isn't good but I'm not saying no.
Took the family out to eat today and the spot the kids wanted to go to was SO busy. We got home and I sat down on the couch. Immediately fell asleep. Humanity is draining.
As I sit here feeling achy and sinusy, I ask myself 'why? I took meds and then took it easy!' and I realize that it might be time to COVID test. 🤦♀️ This is day 2 and it's not feeling any better.
