Maybe things don’t feel like they do because the press heavily influences narratives so they can appear to “be fair to both sides” when in actuality, the only side they’re playing for is themselves and their profits, the facts and our democracy be damned.
Abortion is going to be on the ballot in like 6-7 states. 2022 midterms that should have been a slaughter for Dems were a blip. Dem candidate special election wins all over the place in red and blue states. The idea that we are somehow in a right wing wave isn’t supported by any facts.
