What's a video game that you love, but which was critically seen as poor to mid?
I'll start: Biomutant was a heck of a lot more fun than it was given credit for.

I agree with you on Biomutant. For me, my pick is Yooka-Laylee. I found the game very charming and enjoy it in spite of the flaws. What issues it has did not ruin the experience for me, I am invested in the universe Playtonic has created, and look forward to the remake as well as eventual sequel.
I enjoyed it but it felt very... unfinished which took a lot of the fun out of it when it came to long periods of time.
For me though, Katamari!
Now hear me out, I know it has good reviews now but it's original scores were awful.
