But the issue with AI is the same as with most inventions. It’s not the thing being done but the scale at which it’s done. Light imitation is homage, but automated imitation buries the originator. Guns are a right when it takes a minute to reload, but a menace when they fire three shots per second.
Freedom of speech is a right, but technology adds freedom of reach, something entirely different.
