My friend says, if you've never committed your code in a subway, you're not a 'real' dev. 😄 Guess it's time for some underground coding adventures! 🚇💻 #CodeOnTheGo

We have made the project publicly available, check it out :) https://github.com/CNWizards/node-wizard We believe that this project can be useful especially for SRE's. #kubernetes #controller #sre
Me and my friend @xbilinmiyor.bsky.social are developing a kubernetes controller which simply automates the process of evacuating workloads from nodes that go into NotReady state. We named it the project "node-wizard". How would you name that project if you were developing this project? #kubernetes

Default cni in kind and minikube which is kindnet doesn't support networkPolicies 🤦‍♂️. Lessons learned from hard way. Reference: https://minikube.sigs.k8s.io/docs/handbook/network_policy/#:~:text=Creating%20a%20NetworkPolicy%20resource%20without,support%20Network%20Policies%2C%20by%20design

Great article about how to implement leader election with using kubernetes client-go. I didn't know that much easy until I read. https://itnext.io/leader-election-in-kubernetes-using-client-go-a19cbe7a9a85

In golang you are allowed to iterate nil slices 😮 so it means you don't have to check slices len/cap etc. That is dope! See: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44305170/nil-slices-vs-non-nil-slices-vs-empty-slices-in-go-language

Kubernetes Network Policies can be challenging to use, but what if you could visualize them to help professionals analyze and understand? This could simplify policy creation and management, improving overall network security in your cluster.

Kubernetes networkPolicies seem really simple but in reality to make it understandable for all is hell of a job.
