Opinion | The crackdown on campus protests has gone way too farwapo.st The backlash to Israel protests has been intense, aggressive and almost entirely wrongheaded.

Honestly ANY crackdown on college students protesting is going too far. Looking back, when did college campus protests ever happen for insignificant things. They're a real canary in the coalmine.

Coming up on the Berkeley campus, I saw protests for all *kinds* of irrelevant shit. They're not all prophetic or righteous. They just shouldn't need to be, to be protected from police violence.

Not protests on one campus, obviously. It's the fact that it's the same protest happening across the country.
