I missed the news earlier in the week, but I’m sad to hear the passing of Ed Yoder. He was a thoughtful, dedicated journalist who gave me very kind advice when we bonded over our shared love of Chapel Hill, Oxford, and DC.
Edwin Yoder, Pulitzer-winning editorial writer, columnist, dies at 89www.washingtonpost.com He won the prize in 1979 for his stylish editorials at the Washington Star. After the paper folded, he wrote a column for The Washington Post Writers Group.
