Watching (rewatching for the Nth time) the original Jurassic Park and it's kind of amazing that we're well over an hour into this before we even see the T-Rex eat the goat. The pacing in this is just fantastic.
Also, as a former little kid who ended up getting nightmares from Grumpy on Land of the Lost reruns, the whole scene of the T-Rex breaking through the fence and checking out the cars woke up some seriously deep-in-the-gut primal terror for me.
