I won our local library’s haiku competition with this and I maybe have never been more proud?

This was such an interesting debate to dig into — I keep being surprised by people who find optimism and warmth in the end of I SAW THE TV GLOW, but @petevolk.bsky.social makes a strong, reasoned argument for that reading.
The case for and against hope in the end of I Saw the TV Glowwww.polygon.com Jane Schoenbrun’s trans metaphor leaves Justice Smith in a dark place — or does it?

I loved David Leitch's THE FALL GUY, a light-hearted romcom, a salute to stunt people, a perfect vehicle for its star, and another great Ryan Gosling examination of men too macho to express their emotions.
The Fall Guy | VERN'S REVIEWS on the FILMS of CINEMAoutlawvern.com I first heard of David Leitch as one of “the JOHN WICK GUYS” - the two MATRIX RELOADED stuntmen who directed JOHN WICK and changed action cinema. Chad

I had a delightful chat with Brad and Fiona Dourif about finally getting to act across from each other in the new season of Chucky, and why Brad finally feels like a part of the franchise again www.polygon.com/24150367/chu...

I loved Hundreds of Beavers, a gloriously silly ode to silent comedy filtered through video game logic. One of the best movies of the year, and now out on VOD www.polygon.com/reviews/2412...

I love the Baby Assassins movies so much. They're what I've been missing from the action comedy genre, which is currently in a pretty dire state, and are two of the most fun movies this decade

I had a great time talking to 3 Body Problem's VFX supervisor (who went from 3D modeling tornados as a computer scientist to literally working on Twister) about pulling together the most gruesome scene of the season
