How could they possibly have those numbers? It took us months to get a death toll for September 11th. Israel is still trying to identify bodies from October 7th. There's absolutely no way to know if those numbers could be accurate.

Does Israel even keep a tally of Palestinian child deaths?

Two weeks ago, everybody reported that Israel deliberately destroyed a Palestinian hospital and killed 500 people. It turned out that an errant rocket fired from PIJ inside Gaza accidently hit a parking lot and killed maybe 15. But you're still accepting everything you hear as fact?

After reading this, I'd ask you the same question.

How, exactly, would they do that? Do you think Israeli government officials can freely roam in Gaza?

Gaza is heavily surveilled by the IDF and Israeli intelligence. Channel 14, ruling party mouthpiece, puts the number of “terrorists eliminated” at 9,005, a number that presumably includes kids.

That's the usual Old Testament style revenge. And it won't bring a solution, it's just another intermezzo.
