every now and again i toy with the idea of starting a transparent, anonymous, informative, and honest games critique blog. but then i remember that Split Party and Rascal News exists and i stop thinking about it for another couple of months.

i guess the problem is that i can't stop thinking about it. playing games and writing about them, nicely categorised and tagged and written about with care and thought and honesty. something that exists in most other media but, apparently, not here.

over the years i have seriously softened how i feel about language and stuff that used to really rile me up no longer really bothers me. that said, the trend of people saying "aesthetic" instead of "aesthetically pleasing" or even just "attractive" is absolutely maddening.
