Just started reading this last night and I love it so much.
This page and the one where Galaxy roots through the fridge to find pickle juice and drinks it right out of the jar. (She’s just like me, fr fr 😂)
The promise of fat, queer, poor, racially diverse superheroes, people like us got me to read Strangers, from Ultraverse as a kid. It disappointed , but the promise of a mass empowering event in a realistic world came through a couple of years later with Milestone.
