when i consider the possibility that im actually pretty much right about everything important and everyone else is dumb as shit it really clears up a lot of major confusions
a couple times ive special attention drawn to the distinction between pure functions being only extensionally equal vs actually equal but with no clear explanation of why one should ever really care about this distinction
there's too much going on with c++. they should trim it down to just the essentials. not all the way down to ending up with c again, that's too extreme
if you ever find yourself severely depressed just remember that's actually rare spiritual knowledge, it's the thing that makes you special, and if you ever escape it you will lose the esteem of your peers
programming language that lets you misspell and extemporaneously abbreviate identifiers ad hoc. would have to disallow defining new identifiers that are abbreviations or misspellings of already-defined ones tho, except with some special override keyword
