Anyway, happy Adoption Day to the terrible little guy who lives in my house! I adopted Fiasco on July 7, 2022 and on his very first day in a strange new house he was the BRAVEST BOY He settled right in, ate a full bowl of food, and let me cuddle him

(I had planned to get him a can of something unusual or special today as his adoption day cake, but I forgot. HOWEVER I think he will be very excited about one of his other favourite, horrible snacks: a whole dried sardine.)

Neptune's not too thrilled by them. They both like the freeze dried chicken liver snacks tho

I bought a package of Japanese snack crackers once that included these exact fishies. Unfortunately my cats are very picky and refused to even try them.

I should add that the humans didn’t like them either.

My local Chinese place had these on the menu for a while as an appetizer ("Small Crispy Fish"). I was never sure if they were dried or stir/deepfried like whitebait.
