Every lawyer should be trained in the art of sophistry and we don’t teach the associated skills in law school.

Commencements are fraught for a lot of graduates. Not everyone has the support of their family. Not everyone has an intact family or set of reliable friends who celebrate them. You can help by being inclusive when celebrating. A handwritten note of congratulations can go a long way.
