This is soul crushing to me. I have witnessed the horrible pain that sends those with SCA to ER's. I have also seen the racist prejudice in pain control of that same disease. This is an extension of racism in medicine.

Me too. I know someone who took steps to not live with the pain. And access to pain medication is also impacted by race.

Part of my terror, project 2025 will erase any small gains we have made in these diseases, both medically and socially. Not going back to the dark ages.

Yes, I noticed the dates 2015 to 2016 coincides with former White House occupation who appointed people specifically to undermine any social programs or so-called entitlements provided by the government.
