This is soul crushing to me. I have witnessed the horrible pain that sends those with SCA to ER's. I have also seen the racist prejudice in pain control of that same disease. This is an extension of racism in medicine.
Part of my terror, project 2025 will erase any small gains we have made in these diseases, both medically and socially.
