Personal Me: No one needs you to have a good public wallow in despair right now, including you. It ain’t over yet…if you show up in whatever ways you can. Volunteer, donate, participate, vote, help others vote, support organizations and causes you believe in, the list is long. Despair != strategy.
Absolutely agree, and I'd recommend looking for smaller races. The biggest bang for the buck is to support competitive state legislative races. State legislatures set the election rules, so you can head off a lot of bad things/support good ones by supporting pro-democracy state candidates.
