I don’t think we should allow ourselves to be goaded into helping to make masks a political symbol and flashpoint.
We need masks for health reasons. Let’s focus on that.
Right--but everyone can wear them for health reasons. And having more people wear them benefits us all. Caring about public health is a political position.
