I'll have to try something else later. I've spent 4 hours on this and haven't made any progress. It just might be that Linux isn't possible on the old Surface Pro 2
I will always find hardware more understandable compared to software. I always have software issues that result in 🤷♂️. I can always figure out why hardware isn't working lol
I'm thinking every guide for installing Linux Mint is missing a step because I can't get the installer to see my internal SSD to install to. And the Surface pro 2 doesn't have a bios screen to change the SSD to any other type (I don't even know if it's in RAID or not.) Thats the only advice I see
I was able to open up and replace the SSD in an old Surface tablet I had, but Windows hates the low specs. So I'm diving into Linux for the first time. I was suggested to try Linux Mint. Let's see how this goes
Ended up falling asleep by accident around 7pm then waking up at 1 am. Decided to catch up playing some Elden Ring DLC since I haven't played much this week. Ended up playing until 5am and got a bunch of bosses taken care of! 😤
Three part sketch commission for @jameseden.bsky.social
Rodney knew what was up the second James called him "cutie". May as well speed things up with those meaty weights of his.
