To give a positive counterpoint to this: upon hearing I was in town for Anthrocon the bartender at the pub I watched the soccer at said "if you find someone in this city who has a problem with furries send them to me" hahaha 💯
Walking back to my hotel wearing a tail and a group of like six randoms yelled homophonic anti-furry slurs at me and it's like if y'all are that bothered by one guy you're gonna lose your mind a couple blocks down the street lmao
