This, from the NYT daily newsletter, was enraging:
"The head of the Teamsters union, which endorsed President Biden in 2020 but has yet to back a 2024 candidate, met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago."
I've been skeptical of the "gangster" Teamster trope, but this sticks a shiv right into that skepticism.
It's like, ok, meet with Republicans and Democratics. Yet meeting with _this guy_ just because he's the presumptive/bizzaro Republican candidate? That is offensive in a way I can't articulate.
Why dignify the guy with all the illegitimacy baggage he's carrying, with more on the carousel?
