This is one of the scenarios where you can be technically correct while also wholly missing the point

Oh I understand that. It’s just that a better solution does not exist, at least in this diagram.

Then why did you feel the need to speak

Because I see all these doom posts on bluesky and I’m thinking “wow, this is an absolutely terrible state of affairs, but is there anything that I can do?” And then I see this diagram, and I felt compelled to just declare “I’ll choose the blue one. It hurts less people.” It’s all I can do.

I would argue it’s less than nothing

How do you figure that? Rather than whinging about how bad the choices are, I just chose the least bad decision available.

Tbh I always interpreted this meme image as the people on the tracks being placed farther apart rather than there's less of them (because voting for the lesser evil just slows down fascism somewhat rather than truly fights it) so I don't even know if that part is technically correct.

That’s a very interesting interpretation of it. We don’t know how far these tracks go down.
