Having a 10 year old means I get to learn about words like skibidi and gyat but also I’m not allowed to use any word more recent than yeet because that would be too cringe

We are re-watching Cracker on DVD and we’ve got to ‘Men Should Weep’. Gulp. This is a tricky watch.

Very pleased with these hand-made briquettes (cardboard, sawdust, bits of charcoal sieved from the ash-box). Great fun to mix + compress. Looking forward to seeing how they dry out.

It’s good that bluesky doesn’t support video, because you get to imagine what this looks and sounds like. My son, 10 years old, perfectly landing three jumps in a row, and me close behind doing the final two of them on my backside.

It’s a travel day. Heading back home after a wonderful week in the mountains. Eating quiche in an airport like a european.

6.5 hours of skiing with O around Avoriaz today (mostly Proclou and Seraussaix). Having got the hang of snowplough turns yesterday, our lesson this afternoon was all about side-slipping + starting to introduce parallel turns. So much fun!
