Big repotting day yesterday, wrangled this baby into a new pot and gave it new stakes. This plants started as one wee stalk with a 3” leaf a few years ago.

Me finally finding a LIFE Magazine from 1966 on ebay that is routinely cited as the primary source for some very important claims on a story I'm working on, and then opening it to find that the thing these academics are citing is short, unsourced and poorly written photo captions.

What's an image that gets used as almost a stock photo for lazy stories about something that sets you off every time?Mine is this image that often gets slapped onto any stories about IUDs. Friends that's not where the IUD is supposed to be! This is an xray because shit has gone bad!

Oh a new kind of freelancer hell has arrived for me this year -- places now using a 1099 delivery system that requires me to *guess* my password using this ridiculous key:
