Oh no! Josh is reminding a Civil Rights lawyer and reparations advocate that 600,000 white men died for the sake of ending slavery. That’s not how that worked, Josh! Those men almost all fought to maintain the Union.

I’ve been watching through West Wing again as I isolate for Covid. Third time watching. First time I watched as a conservative. Second time as a moderate. Now as a leftist. It’s interesting how my feelings towards certain episodes have changed. Maybe I’ll live post some.

Most annoying running cliche? Toby scoring points off people because they make a naming error or other mistake they absolutely would not make. It’s just cheap.

Ok. Episode 13 on the Hate Crimes Bill. Everyone describes and questions hate crimes as trying to monitor other people’s thoughts. THAT’S NOT WHAT HATE CRIMES ARE. Hate crimes are different because there are more victims than just the immediate one. They are an assault on a community!

I am here. I am increasingly feeling the pull to leave Twitter. Antisemitism. Anti-LGBTQ+. It’s just bad.
