Expensive for us, sure. But lucrative for the handful of sociopaths who run this place as a personal fiefdom.

here in Colorado, our electric utility is profit-incentivised to build capital infrastructure. natural gas is appealing for short-term profit which will then need to be retired in coming decades. and probably at ratepayer expense.
