Fentanyl is a real risk to kids & education & awareness are needed to keep them safe.
“Feeling hot, feeling nauseated, feeling nervous & scared, & shaking uncontrollably” are not symptoms of fentanyl, & this un-fact-checked reporting does a disservice to everyone.
“Field testing” on a plastic bag is about as unreliable as it gets, and would not even indicate that any fentanyl was ingested (and even money tests positive for fentanyl using real testing).
Remember this viral story about “fentanyl-laced gummies”(!) that just turned out to be false field testing?
I think our in-lab instrument tests use KIMS or a similar principle, do you know what the field tests use? It appears to be pretty much a vibes-based assay.
