I am not going to moralise to anyone else what the principles under which they vote should be but I will say that I simply do not agree with the general thesis that voting for a party always means a wholesale endorsement of /every single plank of their platform/
Not to mention a something beeing party platform by ittself doesn't mean it actually happening . Think about what you genuinely expect to happen from each party and vote for what is best or in some cases least objectionable.
Also tactical voting in the british system plays a huge role. If there's only one option that can realistically beat the worst option possible voting for that is also imho fine.
