“Baccus~” “Si, Oro?/Yes, Gold?” So, I have been on a modern Greek gods brainstorm for days and I decided to do the couple of the hour, Ariadne and Dionysus. Also, Spanish is my first language, and I think a modern Dionysus would sound good with a Spanish accent. And I used the Roman equivalent BTW.

“Hero is he who vies with powers supreme!” Wu Cheng’en, Monkey: Journey to the West. To say this mythological character is an inspiration for my art is an understatement. Of all the stories that come from China, Sun Wukong is my favorite of all time.

“Stay with me, no matter in what moment Let's become the same light, the same shadow In whatever place, I'll hold you” I created this for a project (still in progress), based on the song Shadow by Seventeen. I love how it looks and I'm proud of how it turned out. Just a little wholesome content.

The unmentionable King and God of the Underworld, Hades. The best fact I know about Hades is that the Greeks fear him and, as a result, never mention his name; many literary works mention him with titles. It's so fascinating how his name is still known despite this.

Queen of the Underworld, Persephone. I do prefer the “Dread Queen” image of Persephone over the “Goddess of Spring” image; there is something about it that I found more appealing. Also, love the black Greek-inspired dress and the silver jewelry instead of gold.

Eros, the personification of love, and Psyche, the personification of the soul. I put many small details here, the things I remember of this myth in particular. One of the stories with a happy ending that I love to read over and over.

Thanatos, God of the dead, and Hypnos, God of sleep. Designs based on the rouge game “Hades”, I wanted them to look similar but also unique. I had more fun creating Hypnos than Thanatos, but I was satisfied with the result.

Dionysus, God of wine and madness, and Ariadne, Princess of Crete. I love mythology and one of my favorite pantheon is the Greek. Hope you like this as much as I do.
