I finally got covid for the first time and god just walking to my fridge takes it out of me. I can’t imagine what this felt like 4 years ago. I imagine the virus has weakened since then. But jeez this sucks :( every time I try and wean off Tylenol my symptoms rush back

I woke up scared and gasping cause I had a dream I took a long trip home and only until the day before my flight home I realized I never gave my friend keys to check on phoebe and phoebe had no food entire time and it felt so real I woke up gasping and startled phoebe who’s laying next to me lol

There’s a strong part of me that when I get laid off end of August wants to just say eff it and travel without thinking about the industry crap going on and the other part of me is like “you need to save save save you don’t know how long you’ll be unemployed for”

Learning that you don’t need to respond to people that try to argue with you online has been a challenge because you impulsively feel the need to defend yourself but I’m working on being like “you know, are they worth my time? No.” And it’s been very helpful lol 😆

there is something so profoundly radicalizing about the AI bullshit--not that it's a scam (that seems standard for new tech these days), but that the push has been towards the kind of work that people _want_ to do, solely because it represents the kind of talent and humanity tech bros can't control.

This plateau is so frustrating I was looking like i broke it for the past 5 days then overnight I shot up 3lbs and have been holding that 3 the past 4 days. I figured probably water weight but idk if it holds that long. I’ve had sore muscles past few days so hopefully I just gained some muscle
