Strangely that's one bird I don't think I've ever seen taking a bath 🤔

I would be curious to see how they bathe. But I would also not be surprised to learn they are renegades who bathe in dust only.

I miss those little chips! In the winter here they were always in a group. The solitude must be wonderful!

I have two pairs nesting in the yard this year so can hear "chip! chip! chip!" constantly 😁
