What's really disturbing about the debate fiasco is there's no way to be confident that Biden has it in him to pull off the near-flawless execution he'll need to win at this point.
At a minimum, the Bidens owe us a real conversation about that.

Kind of meta, but I think if you're gonna be part of a pundit class that's upset at skin-deep media coverage that refuses to focus on anything beyond aesthetics you should maybe focus on things beyond aesthetics. "We have to cover this debate like idiots because the media is stupid" says something.
