I think there’s no tenable way to replace Biden rn btw. I don’t trust leadership to roll out a new candidate who won’t be perceived as person chosen in a closed room by elites; they already ignore progressive concerns
The problem is media scents blood in the water, and it seems like there are stories that should have been written years ago, but weren’t, about the extent to which Biden is being carefully stage-managed due to what is probably age-typical cognitive impact. Those stories are now going to flood out.
I don’t think that he is capable of consistently delivering the “fire”
that a lot of people are saying that they would like to see outside of the debate context, and that if he can do that, everything will be okay.
