Losing the "Reveal Email" field on YouTube is honestly such a huge blow to indie games promotion/influencer relations, especially for smaller developers.

I checked and somehow this is a real change. Wtf youtube?!? This was basically the only spot i felt safe to share my contact email as it was behind a Capatcha filter. Now I gotta figure out another way to do so this weekend…

YouTube removing creator emails from bios just makes it even more challenging for journalists to actually reach people for comment if they've been central to a cool community thing or, god forbid, done a scandal

I think this lrg CS account was a thing on their discord before reddit (they abandoned it pretty much after firing the transphobe and pulled up on talking with the community there, I’m told) but the reddit account also exists Because their ex COO Doug tried to seize the lrg reddit and appoint mods

Also like, it’s pretty funny to think how earlier this year LRG just shoved their public PR people away from socials in favor of a nameless generic “Customer Solutions” account because they probably got sick of people pinging the rep over and over for hep

Though man lol Speaking of Limited Run Games, they recently are getting hounded by SEA folk for their site shitting out, autocanceling Persona preorders, and then their CS just refusing to even remotely budge to do anything right

Gotta admit i’m surprised the tabloid site is doing a good job of holding lrg accountable for D considering their extreme shilling of the Amico scam. And yeah, doesn’t surprise me lrg is hiding from it (they deleted the D web page)

I just realized: It has now been over a year since the last post from Brian Schorr/Dispatch Games on their scammy preorders. Gone with the wind. Despite people still commenting on facebook in hopes of an update lol Shame i had to quit writing about them.

all you need to know about techbros, is that there's a youtube channel called "saveafox". their whole thing is saving foxes from fur farms, and taking in foxes that can't be properly cared for as pets. they've been hacked since this morning, and replaced with elon musk videos.

Rain World is kicked to next week. Something I got a bit recently and fully finished playing will be out on Wednesday and is a more topical game for my retro port focus.
