Today, Marjorie Taylor Greene introduced another bogus stunt amendment to reduce the salary of DHS Secretary Mayorkas to $1, claiming it's a waste of taxpayer money. I'm going to reduce one of the biggest wastes of taxpayer money, not to $1, but to ZERO. It's MTG's salary.

Fighting to tackle the practical problems facing our communities and make sure we are getting value back from the tax money we send to Washington is not a red or blue issue. It's the basic job of a member of Congress. And that's why I'm running.

Juneteenth, being my first day campaigning as the Democratic nominee for Congress, reminds me that freedom isn't free. We have to fight for it. To be an American is to be part of a diverse and vibrant community and to embrace the ideals of liberty, justice, and equality for all.

Vladimir Putin had a rough night. His number one supporter in the United States Congress got a serious challenger for November.
