Watching 20 episodes of #StarTrek in one day was such a unique moment in my fandom. What’s better: I got to live text with my friend @abbymsommer.bsky.social for a good chunk of the season. “Stay together” is a mantra for fans as well as the Protostar crew. Let’s keep them together for S3!

I don’t think it’s hyperbole to say that #StarTrekProdigy’s second season is the season with the biggest scope, stakes, and heart in the franchise. Its exploration of character as well as the larger #StarTrek universe firmly establishes it as essential Trek.

#CommandingTrek Leadership Gwyn takes the center seat to plead with the Federations allies—asking them to offer their shields to protect the Starfleet vessels under the control of the Construct. Her words influence others to sacrifice for the greater good. #StarTrek

#CommandingTrek Leadership “I am the Captain of this ship,” declares Dal resolutely. In “Supernova, part 2,” Dal shows that a leader is willing to sacrifice himself for others, to do the hard work. That’s quite a moment for the character.

“Eye of the Needle” hits as strong today as it ever has. The devastating reveals—the time differential and Telek R’Mor’s death—are great storytelling. The mission failed despite their efforts, their bridging across suspicion and space-time. But Janeway says they must move on.

I have to say, #StarTrekDiscovery’s finale is one of the most satisfying series finales in the franchise, IMHO. It serviced character, big ideas, dazzling action, emotion, and human truths. I’m truly grateful for this series sticking the landing so confidently.

I unabashedly love “Force of Nature” for all of the monotonous calibrations, PowerPoints, and the Geordi-Data friendship. The rest of the narrative is fine. The visual effects of the subspace rift is top-tier TNG. It’s definitely a comfort episode when I need more Geordi.
