Minor update, as a prelude to a desultory thread: ambiguous culture resolved. Spouse has three lung infections, two of which require longer-term treatment than the fortunately-non-MRSA staph. We are anticipating discharge home on [redacted date], which is redacted because I am superstitious.
Having one's spouse in the ER and then admitted is one level of suck.
Having one's spouse diagnosed, stable, and stuck in hospital because of an ambiguous culture result is another level of suck.
Can we please stop leveling up in this game? I can do without more achievements in this area.
