Finished the first 2 books of 2024 & of course loved them! Two very different stories. “The Marvellers” by @dhonielle.bsky.social is an incredible & engaging fantasy story. “Apocalypse Taco” by @nathanhale.bsky.social is a wild science fiction ride. Get both, read both, & share them both widely!

After Covid shut us down in 2020, I decided that moving forward, instead of a new year’s resolution I’d pick a word that will guide me through the year. For 2024 my word is hopefulness. I will have hope that we make it to 2025 better, stronger and more at peace than we are now. ❤️☮️

I decided to make the TBR pile that’s in my head, visual. They are piled in no particular order but the two standing are the ones I’m currently reading. Yes, at the same time. 🤣 Not sure if I can finish all of these in 2 weeks but I’m going to have fun trying.

We made blanket forts for reading. This student just told me our library is his favorite place. My heart… ❤️❤️ #oomslibrary I absolutely love my job. ❤️

When a student wants to read a book and I literally just got it in…of course I say yes! It’s not processed, it’s not stamped or covered, and it’s not even in the catalog. The look on her face when I told her she could borrow it was all I needed to know that I made the right choice. ❤️ #oomslibrary
