MLI is doubling down on its transphobia.
Dudes, I guess it is whoever is funding you, but punching down on vulnerable people and borrowing the worst bs from the US is more than a bad look. It is inciting violence against people who have done nothing to deserve it.
And it is utter bs. We have plenty of stats that show that kids are not getting easy access to surgery, that gender dysmorphia is real, that denying kids and non-kids care risks suicide, and on and on. 2/x
The fake concern about kids getting too much care is just an opening wedge to put trans people in the closet and in danger.
I guess if want to Americanize Canadian care and borrow from the Orban playbook, this is what you have to do. But it means everyone should see MLI as far right 3/x
that MLI is inciting violence and hate. I have friends who do international relations stuff over there, and I just have to ask: do you really want your name associated with this crazy, horrific stuff?

I am not asking MLI and its ilk to be allies of the LGBTQ2S+, but how about not being enemies? Is that too much to ask?

My MLI rant was before I saw this story where CSIS reports the threat of anti-gender violence www.thestar.com/politics/fed... There is a real problem here and it is not kids getting too much trans care. It is the incitement of violence and actual violence. FFS!!!
