This is the image my scanner captured. The colors and the tones are accurate, but it really doesn't capture the texture of the background at all, or the relief effect of the bird (there is about a 1/8" gap between the bird and the background) #birds#art
And then this is the piece with a directional light. Really captures the textures, but maybe highlights them TOO much? They start to distract from the bird. But you get a nice shadow that shows how the bird is raised off the background. Also way too yellow/red in tone. #birds#art

I did a quick search on ebay for 'jim lee original art' and found these. Dude knows how much the collectors will pay and this will cut out people trying to buy a cheap commission and then resale for 10x the price.
