I'm very grateful to have grown up without religion but sometimes I get so jealous of religious people. Like, how great would it be to just believe in god and heaven and have a built in religious community that helps give life meaning? What a trip.
Some religious people spend their lives worrying that they're going to hell. That includes, among others, Evangelicals who repeatedly make altar calls and "get saved" throughout their childhood because they're afraid the last time wasn't real, and Catholics with scrupulous consciences.
