These are from one of my favorite of Joe Kubert's comics, Tarzan 227. His figure drawing had reached an expressive peak, and he drew the hell out of young warrior Tulum and his father. Plus he designed his pages to eliminate formal panel borders whenever possible, with striking results.
Turns out Joe Kubert also did a 7-page story for Conan the Cimmerian #14 that's been apparently forgotten. (This phenomenon is described by scientists as "The Shamballah Effect".)
