Whatever else might be said about it, SUPER MARIO BROS had an amazing cast. Richard Edson! Mojo Nixon! Lance Henriksen! Dennis Hopper! And of course Bob Hoskins! And it was shot by Dean Semler, who was also the cinematographer for THE ROAD WARRIOR and MAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME.

Today is the 31st anniversary of the '93 Mario movie!

Just got my hands on the 93’ Super Mario Bros. Movie ‘trust the fungus’ 4K Bluray set. This thing is incredible! It might be the best disc release of a movie I’ve ever seen. So much material and extras! The folks at Umbrella Entertainment and @supermariomovie93.bsky.social did an amazing job!
