All around positive experience?

I graduated and cancelled my move to LA because dad went into rehab and I thought he’d need me. When he didn’t, the move was back on. I drove to Ohio, took her to her favorite picnic spot, and broke her heart. Like taking Ol’ Yeller out back at the end of the book.
