I was hoping we’d have more success than the Commodores! We took points off Arsenal last season and have made a European final within the last 15 years!
just having a couple years stability and not doing the yo-yo thing has been tremendous. Not to say that watching a draw in a Championship match with a cup of Bovril on a freezing summer afternoon wasn’t a fully authentic English football experience
But watching a man who looked like a Bond villain bang in 40 goals against teams whose names are clearly made up was the most fun season I’ve had following a team since the 87-88 Lakers
