And we / they had to do it litteraly in a day due to Macron's decision and how he chose to try and prevent that from happening.
Contexte : Macron deliberately CHOSE the SHORTEST duration for the election campaign (could have been up to 6 weeks).

Yeah, I’m not clear on how all this works, but even out here I’m grasping that this is not how Macron meant for this to go. It’s been inspiring to watch from afar.
