I just had a research breakthrough several years in the making. I’m so happy. But also, there’s one scholar in particular who has made an enemy of me FOR LIFE. A great many biographers are Grade A haters. And I’m fed up.

In my experience, academics can be some of the WORST when it comes to foolishness, racism, and/or having their head up their ass. I imagine you've seen some shit.
I was working on a power point for an honors class that was taught by one of the PhDs that helped design the program at the college. Very "important" man. It was during quarantine, so class was virtual.
He was reviewing my work and I had some stock images of families in color and black and white.
Mentioned that I wasn't sure if I should include the colored pictures. Dude thought I was referring to the black families, not the color photos. Said something like, "well, you already have some pictures of them." I was in a stunned silence. Librarian obviously caught it too. Bizarre shit.
