That's a solid day at the movies. Though I love I Saw the TV Glow less than some (especially the ending), it's an original & important film & like Hit Man, it needs warm bodies in a theater for films of its kind to keep existing. & Princess Mononoke in rep? Damn, now I want to go to the Fox Theatre!
I felt much the same about I Saw the TV Glow. It was genuinely disturbing, and while I had quibbles, it has really stayed with me in a way that is rare.
How was the audio quality of the conversation scenes between young Owen and Maddy in your screening of ISTTG? I really went for the movie, but I could barely hear them and I wondered if it was my theater.
