Edward Austin Hall co-edited the 2013 anthology Mothership: Tales from Afrofuturism and Beyond, acknowledged in a front-page NPR.org story, “Sci-Fi Has Changed A Lot In The Past Decade—These 7 Reads Will Show You How.”
Hall’s novel, Dread Isle, was published in 2020. He worked in multiple capacities on the roleplaying game Blackbirds (Andrews McMeel Universal, 2022), which won Best Overall Presentation at the 2023 Ennies award ceremony.
Currently he’s editing material for a collection of civil rights–related sermons by the Reverend Doctor C. T. Vivian, that is in search of a publisher.
