Really interesting story about pay transparency with younger women. I saw this in action; one of my reports a few years ago, a 20-something woman, was upset because she was talking with her colleagues and found that the people who started in the next year's group made more money.

I tried to get her a raise to that level. It didn't work. They gave her about half. I'm not going to say I told her the best way to make more would be to leave. I won't say I didn’t, either….
I also told her that I envied that she and her fellow twenty-somethings had the nerve to share that information. That's not something this sixty year old has ever seen in my own cohort.
